HUD 2019 RAD Closing Timelines - Community Development Strategies

HUD established timelines for fourth quarter RAD closings in order to plan for the Office of Recapitalization’s workload and necessary approvals. The table below indicates when items must be complete in order to close in 2019. This memo provides additional information about how HUD will prioritize projects when transaction volume exceeds their processing capacity.

Note: Housing Authorities should work with their FHA lender to submit an FHA application at approximately the same time as the Financing Plan documents are submitted.
